On October 25th, Wei Tianjiao, Deputy Dean of the Nanhai Institute of HEU, ledthe team to conduct on-site investigations at the Sanya International Yacht Center. Hu Xiaoming,the specially appointed consultant of the Sanya Central Business District Administration, and Guo Shen, Director of the Vessel Department of Hainan International Yacht Trading Company, attended the event.

Representatives of teachers and students from the Nanhai Institute of HEU visited the wharf, exhibition hall and ship model museum of the yacht center, gained an in-depth understanding of the construction of yacht water wharves, the design and manufacturing of yachts and sailboats, as well as the history of ship development and future development trends.

This activity has expanded the multi-dimensional cooperation between the Research Institute and the yacht center in terms of school-local cooperation. Meanwhile, it has also created opportunities for postgraduate students in the Hainan special project of the Nanhai Institute of HEU to perceive the market dynamics of the ship industry, further broadening the students’ horizons and channels for employment in Hainan.
