On September 18th, deputy director and deputy secretary of Party Committee of Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration  Bureau,  Lin Hai and his delegation visited Harbin Engineering University for investigation. President Yao Yu and vice president Yan rujian welcomed Linhai and his delegation.

Yao Yu briefly introduced the study and implementation of the important speech of General secretary Xi Jinping’s inspection of the university. He said that under the strong support of the Ministry of Industry and Information  Technology of the Peole's Republic of China and the People’s Government of Hainan Province, HEU would strengthen the cooperation with Sanya, and make great efforts with Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology Administration  Bureau to accelerate the landing of major science and technology industry platforms, promote  talents cultivation and make great contributions to serving the national strategy and the construction of Hainan free trade port.

Lin Hai introducted the situation of the development of Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City. He indicated that Nanhai Institute of Harbin Engineering University make positive contributions to the local development in scientific research, talent cultivation and commericalization of scientific and research achievements. Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology Administration Bureau always supports the development of Nanhai institute in Hainan, and continues to deepen the cooperation with the university, to promote the development of deep-sea scientific industry and jointly serve the construction of a strong marine country and Hainan free trade port to build an innovation highland of deep-sea science and technology industry. 

Lin Hai and his delegation also visited the exhibition of scientific research  achievements and key laboratories of HEU.
