From December 1st to 2nd, 2024, the Youth Academic Forum of the Chinese Acoustics Society - Special Forum on Acoustics and Unmanned Systems was successfully held in Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City, Sanya City, Hainan Province.

This forum was guided by the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Acoustics Society, hosted by Harbin Engineering University and the State Key Laboratory of Acoustics, and jointly organized by the Nanhai Institute of HEU, the Association for Science and Technology ofHEU, the School of Underwater Acoustic Engineering of HEU, the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Acoustic Technology, the Key Laboratory of Marine Information Acquisition and Security of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Key Laboratory of Polar Acoustic Technology and Application of the Ministry of Education.

More than 80 experts and scholars in the field of acoustics from all over the country gathered together. They focused on the application of acoustic technology in unmanned systems, including fields such as intelligent acoustic detection, unmanned marine equipment, acoustic information perception and processing, and underwater communication and navigation. They shared the latest research results, exchanged application cases and frontier research on acoustic technology in unmanned systems, and discussed technical challenges and solutions, so as to promote the cross-integration in the fields of acoustics and unmanned systems and drive the innovation and application of relevant technologies.
