Recently, the 2021 Hainan specialized graduate students of Harbin Engineering University successfully entered Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City (YZBSTC) to start their study journey in Sanya, Hainan. To help the students adapt to the local environment as soon as possible and gain a better understanding of YZBSTC, Nanhai Institute held a series of education activities for them.

The students visited scientific achievement exhibition hall of YZBSTC, EFY Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science, and participated in the student meeting organized by Nanhai institute.

At the student meeting, Li Zhichao, the executive deputy dean of Nanhai Institute, warmly welcomed the students and introduced in detail the milestone, goals, discipline layout, and research directions of Nanhai institute. He pointed out that Nanhai Institute can be seen that the exit of the HEU's penetration into the deep sea, aiming to promote mature technological innovation application and train innovative talents needed by Hainan. He encouraged the students to do real scientific research, innovative practice, not to forget their original intentions, and to contribute their youth and strength to building a marine power and promoting high-level independent development of marine science and technology.
