On  November 17,  Wang Xiaojun, the secretary general of the Science and Technology Committee of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) and his colleagues came to Nanhai Institute for research, accompanied by the main leaders of Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration Bureau, Harbin Electric Marine Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd and Nanhai Institute.

Wang Xiaojun and his delegation have visited the achievement exhibition hall of Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City、CSSC "North Transfer 996" research vessel, the Joint Underwater Unmanned Equipment Assurance Centre, and then to the Nanhai Institute of Harbin Engineering University to carry out discussions.

At the symposium, executive vice dean, Li zhichao introduced the scientific research, talent training and the construction of laboratory platform of Nanhai institute, while Yao Hongwei, executive director and general manager of Harbin Electric Marine Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd,  introduced the development and construction of the group. Wang Xiaojun introduced the layout planning of the Aerospace Science and Technology Group in Hainan and discussed extensively the possible areas of future cooperation with Nanhai Institute and  Harbin Electric Marine Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.

The parties reached a consensus that they will bring into play the industrial and technological strengths, achieve complementary advantages, and jointly promote the further integration of aerospace technology with marine science and technology and related industries in the future, so as to help the scientific and technological innovation of Hainan Free Trade Port.
