On November 29, the chairman of China Merchants of Group Miao Jianmin visited Nanhai Institute, focusing on the Joint Underwater Unmanned Equipment Assurance Centre.

Miao Jianmin learned in details about the situation of underwater intelligent unmanned equipment, hydroacoustic positioning, hydroacoustic communication equipment, and gave affirmation to the university's scientific research achievements, hoping that China Merchants Group and Nanhai Institute of HEU will further strengthen cooperation, expand cooperation areas and jointly serve the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.
